I combine quantitative rigor with principled, human-centered analysis to design salary structures that are both competitive and just. Using advanced statistical methods — role benchmarking, market trending, geographic differentials, and regression modeling — I uncover structural pay disparities across gender, race, and organizational hierarchy. I evaluate organizations against living wage standards and build custom data solutions, from automated tax data pipelines to interactive Tableau reports, that show how compensation systems can be reshaped to broaden opportunity, sustain competitiveness, and reduce inequality over time.

I strengthened the State of Missouri’s data infrastructure by building cross-agency dashboards, leading statewide analytics workshops, and introducing technological solutions that improved efficiency across its tax system. Despite their widespread adoption, traditional economic indicators such as the gross domestic product (GDP) fail to capture the true health of an economy. As a part of a new indices project, I used quintile analysis to illustrate the vastly unequal distribution of income growth across six countries with growing macroeconomies.

At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I collaborated with seven students across five universities to launch an educational technology startup, EduMate NYC, to redress the educational inequities exacerbated by New York City public school students’ transition to remote learning. Within one of the most segregated school districts in the country, EduMate NYC connects disadvantaged elementary to high school students with academic tutors from 250+ universities across the world to fill in the gaps in their education.

Data is a powerful tool, but when dashboards prioritize efficiency over empathy, they perpetuate systemic bias under the guise of objectivity. At the Code for America Summit, I spoke about how design encodes power, how methodology biases data stories, and how human-centered visualization can shift narrative autonomy back to local communities.

Carbon Emissions and Health Investment—Who Contributes?
In this dashboard, I explore the relationship between carbon emissions and health investment across countries. I highlight the top five carbon-emitting nations in comparison to their global counterparts, showcasing disparities in national emissions. By expanding on my analysis of CO₂ output with health spending, I reveal a stark imbalance: countries with the lowest emissions often lack the robust health infrastructure needed to confront the public health crises driven by environmental change, an inequity that leaves the most vulnerable populations least prepared for the impact.

Human Resources Attrition Dashboard – The State of Missouri Iron Viz Finale
In this dashboard, I provide a comprehensive view of the key performance indicators related to employee attrition within a simulated organization. I include metrics on demographic factors such as gender, age, and race, as well as position-specific attrition rates and salary distribution, enabling Human Resources to analyze retention trends, identify critical factors contributing to turnover, and make data-driven decisions to improve employee retention.
This was my submission to the 2023 MO Iron Viz competition, in which I was selected as a finalist.
