I play with this idea of surrendering — with this idea that we are all sailors in this vast, unending sea. We have the power to steer our ship towards idyllic waters, but where we ultimately arrive is at the mercy of the current.
And the secret to life, I’ve discovered, lies in the delicate balance between controlling our ship and knowing when to let go.
Some days are stormier than others. Despite our efforts to move forward, we will float in our opposition. But on those days of still water, the entire world is within our fingertips.

The eternal artifact presents itself to me upon my very first leap of faith: the knowledge that every moment recurs infinitely, once in the temporal space of my body and then within the atemporal realm of memory.
The history of the sea, this story of surrender — this sensation that we are merely passengers of memory, sailing through the uncharted ocean of time, flows within me, crashing again and again, until I contain within me infinite histories.
